The
miFIO is designed around the Renesas high performance / highly integrated RX62N MCU and Altera Cyclone FPGA. The miFIO is ideally suited for product prototyping and integration into OEM devices. An included Ethernet, USB2.0 and CAN bus interface makes the miFIO (multi-interface FIO) useful for flexible hardware interfaces or even high performance HMIs. The
miFIO can be integrated into new designs to provide a complete turnkey solution allowing you to deploy your system with 100% confidence knowing that all VHDL, Software Drivers and Interfaces have been rigidly tested. Features include fully supported FreeRTOS, Ethernet, USB2.0, expansion connectors and a broad
range of peripherals.
With the onboard FPGA, the designer can design advanced data acquisition, processing or system control functions. The miFIO provides the designer a digital ‘system on a module’ approach to their requirements. To further reduce the design effort, RPA supplies S/W and VHDL examples and supports FreeRTOS on all RX62N based products.
