All of our I/O products are built around standard I/O interfaces. From there we add application-specific hardware interfaces per the customer’s requirements. Standard Products RPA has a wide range of standard products that our customers can integrate into their systems or products. We offer a broad range of modules that interface to the real world. With our open source daughterboard interface specifications, customers can even design their own hardware to interface with our I/O products. As with all RPA products, technical support is just a phone call or E-Mail away. PCI or PC104 FIO This is our oldest I/O product and still in production. The PCI style boards combine a user programmable Altera Flex 10K Series Field-Programmable-Gate-array, with a bidirectional FIFO coupled 32 Bit and a 33 MHz PCI Interface. This combination allows the end user to create a high speed data interface and/or control solution without the time usually required for custom hardware design. 
E100-FIO Ethernet has become the choice for products and systems that needs to be network and/or Internet capable. With the E100-FIO, the user starts with a powerful processing engine. Using the E100-FIO’s many different types of daughterboard I/O interfaces, the user can then select from a wider range of I/O peripherals to better match their design requirements. 
USB-FIO This USB 2.0 compliant module combines the flexibility of a FPGA with a standardized, platform independent USB 2.0 controller. This combination provides our customers with a high-speed data interface and/or control solution. This also allows RPA to create custom interface modules at a fraction of the time or cost associated with a 100% custom hardware design. 
HVIO-FIO The HVIO-FIO addresses high voltage and high current DC I/O requirements. A single HVIO-FIO supports 48 or 96 ports of high-powered DC I/O, giving the user 2-3 times the density of more costly off-the-shelf solutions. The I/O drivers have a long list of features including incandescent and inductive load control, output-specific diagnostics, over temperature protection and fault logic that senses potentially hazardous conditions such as over/under voltage and shorted load to name a few. These features combine to form a configurable I/O solution robust enough for use in the most hostile application environments. 
Roadmap RPA will continue to add high performance cards to our family of standard products. This includes expanding our FIO cards and I/O specific cards like the HVIO-FIO. Current FIO I/O boards that are within 12-18 months of being released are the following cards. GbE-FIO The GbE-FIO card will expand our latest FIO architecture to include a dual 1Gb Ethernet port interfaces directly to the FPGA, thereby granting the user a high speed I/O data path to the host PC. The user will still retain access to the other high performance features of the FIO architecture such as the Blackfin DSP, 64MB SDRAM, flexible clock timing generator and the myriad I/O device interfaces.  The PCIe-FIO card will expand our latest FIO architecture to include a 1x lane PCIe interface directly to the FPGA, thereby granting the user a high speed I/O data path to the host PC. The user will still retain access to the other high performance features of the FIO architecture such as the Blackfin DSP, 64MB SDRAM, flexible clock timing generator and the myriad I/O device interfaces.
